Backstage Brewdio started, like most good things, a little unexpectedly.

Ramona came to Happy Valley to build a Playa Bowls, and somewhere along the way, Angel adopted her into her friend group. One friendship turned into a crew, Jason joined the mix, and before we knew it, we were talking about building something together.

Between the three of us, there’s a lot of art, music, coffee, small business, and a shared habit of asking, “What if we just tried it?” We call it FAFO. Sometimes you have to follow an idea far enough to see where it takes you.

Ramona is a muralist who turns blank walls into immersive worlds. Angel manages small businesses for creatives and keeps the chaos moving in the right direction. Jason is a multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, frontman of My Hero Zero, and co-owner of Happy Valley Song Lab.

When we found the space, it had its own energy, and almost immediately, the idea started to take shape. It felt less like we were deciding what the space should be and more like the space was ready to become something.

Something that reflected who we are and how we live: art, music, coffee, community, creativity, friendship, and a willingness to try something a little different.

That mix became Backstage Brewdio.

We even had to invent a word for it: Brewdio. A little bit of everything we love, brewed together under one roof.
