About Us
We are a coffee shop by day and a recording studio by night. A space built for creatives. At Backstage Brewdio, we exist to give you more than just caffeine; we give you an outlet to rejuvenate, plug in, and let your ideas flow. This is your stage to play.
Backstage Brewdio was founded by four Happy Valley locals whose lives revolve around art, music, and community. Ramona Schatzer brings the walls to life as a professional muralist known for turning blank surfaces into immersive visual experiences. Angel Mariotti, a small-business manager for creatives and proud Penn State alum, keeps the vision grounded, organized, and connected to the community she champions. Jason Olcese, also a Penn State graduate, fuels the sound of the Brewdio as a multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, frontman of My Hero Zero, and co-owner of the Happy Valley Song Lab. Together, they form the creative engine behind Backstage Brewdio.
As artists, musicians, entrepreneurs, and makers living in Happy Valley, we’re building a home for people like us. A place where anyone can feel more energized, more inspired, and more creatively alive.
Our Mission
To energize the creative spirit in every form it takes. Whether your fuel is caffeine, sound, or sheer inspiration, we’re the space where ideas get loud and limits disappear. Our mission is to connect creators, thinkers, and dreamers through an atmosphere charged with possibility. A place where every sip, session, and spark pushes something new into motion.
